About us
Our Story
Sunsets & Savannas was born in 2023 from a love of prairie skies, secondhand treasures, and a desire to do business differently. The name was inspired by my grandmother, who called me her “ray of sunshine,” and by the peace I’ve always found on a Saskatchewan backroad at sunset. I’m a proud Saskatchewan girl, a business student focused on Indigenous relations and agricultural business, and a member of Sweetgrass First Nation.
I spent over 10 years in 4-H and have always felt passionately about agriculture, the western way of life, and protecting the land we live on. That same passion lives at the heart of this boutique. Sunsets & Savannas began with the simple joy of finding vintage pieces that tell a story — items with character, soul, and purpose. I wanted to fill the gap between western and vintage style while offering a more sustainable alternative to fast fashion.
Our rebrand is a return to that vision: timeless, practical staples curated from clothing bound for landfill. Every piece is sustainably sourced, thoughtfully chosen, and meant to be lived in. My hope is that when you wear something from Sunsets & Savannas, you feel confident — not just in how it looks, but in where it came from and what it stands for.
